Tubes made of Krütex

Tubes made of cotton-fabric type Krütex® are mainly used in machine construction but also in the electronic industry as construction material. Another main field of usage are the hydraulic and the bearing production. Because of the fabric-strength in combination with the phenolic resin you can put much weight on it, and so is used as substitute to metallic materials many areas.

Structure: Tubes made of Krütex 100 or Krütex 102 consist of with phenolic resin impregnated cotton-fabric-lengths. They are parallel winded on winding machines, where the resin under the influence of warmth and pressure glues together the lengths . At the following hardening process the layers get indissoluble. The finished tubes then get grinded and mechanically worked as the customer wishes.

We can produce the following Krütex®-types:

Krütex® 100 Hgw 2085 acc. DIN 7735 PF CC 22 acc. EN 61212
Krütex® 102 Hgw 2086 acc. DIN 7735 PF CC 21 acc. EN 61212

Normal diameters and tolerances:

Inside diameter: from 5 mm up to about 600 mm
Wall thickness: from 1 mm depending of the diameter
Length: from 500 mm up to about1500 mm
Tolerances: acc. to DIN 40607 or as wished
